Although our work is firmly in the contemporary sector, it is still refreshing to see how well an interior is complimented by the 'humble' Windsor Chair.  Architects and designers all over are deploying the flexible charms of the quintessential English chair to enhance an interior, no matter how modern.  Great fun too to witness the imaginative tweeks designers and makers are using to add their own personality and style statement to the chair.  We have plucked a few of our favourite 'Windsor Interiors' here and feature on Furniture Folio probably the best Windsor Chair maker in the land - Sitting Firm.

Bold Accents In this dining room, antique shelves stand out against a bold green accent wall. Crisp white dishware on the shelves pops against the striking hue. The accent wall adds a splash of modernity to other antique fixtures as well, such as the dining table and painted Windsor chairs.
